       Downtown Palatine offers a more urban feel, with a gazebo, train station, tree-lined sidewalks, and various wall backdrops, including brick, ivy, concrete, and storefronts. There's a street of brownstones to stroll down, sidewalk restaurants, and depending on the time of year,  different landscaping.

       These photos were taken at different times of the year (from spring into early winter), some in the morning, some in the afternoon, some on sunny days and some on cloudy days. But the features of the town remain!
